Choosing a red light therapy bed supplier in India: 9 questions to ask
Red light beds look alike in photographs. Wavelengths, power, warranty, spare parts and service are where they differ — the nine questions we would ask any supplier in India, including us.

Search for a red light therapy bed and the first results are usually international manufacturers. For a clinic, spa, gym or home in India, the manufacturer matters less than the supplier: the company that imports the bed, gets it through your door, wires it safely, trains your staff, and turns up when something stops working.
These are the questions we suggest asking any red light therapy supplier in India — including us at AAAyan Immunotech.
1. Which wavelengths does it use, and in what mix?
Ask for the exact wavelengths (for example 630, 660, 810, 850 nm) and how the LEDs are split between red and near-infrared. A bed that only lists "red light" without numbers is hard to compare. If you want to understand why the numbers matter, see red light therapy benefits.
2. What is the measured irradiance at the treatment surface?
Irradiance (mW/cm²) is how much light actually reaches the body. Ask how and where it was measured. LED count alone is not a substitute.
3. What power supply does it need?
Commercial full-body beds can need a dedicated circuit, and some need three-phase power. Ask before the bed is shipped, not after. Voltage fluctuation is common in many Indian buildings, so ask about stabilisers too.
4. Will it fit through the door?
Get the crated dimensions and weight, then measure your lift, doors and corridor turns. Our installation requirements guide lists what to check.
5. What certification does it carry?
Ask for electrical safety certification and, where the intended use requires it, medical device registration. Ask for the documents themselves, not a logo on a brochure.
6. What does the warranty cover in India?
Check whether the warranty is honoured locally or requires the part to be shipped abroad, and how LED panels and drivers are covered.
7. Are spare parts stocked in India?
An LED driver or control board waiting weeks in customs means weeks of lost bookings. Ask what is held locally.
8. Who installs it, and is training included?
A good supplier does the site survey, installation and commissioning, and trains your operators on session programmes, cleaning and eye protection. We include all of this in every AAAyan installation.
9. What happens after the sale?
Ask for response times, whether there is an annual service contract, and references from other installations in India.
