The Variables

What actually moves the price

Occupancy. Monoplace to multiplace is the single largest step in cost. See monoplace and multiplace models.
Working pressure. A 3 ATA rated vessel costs more to build and certify than a 2 ATA one.
Shell construction. Hard shell aerospace aluminium against soft shell fabric is a different class of product with a different service life.
Oxygen source. Concentrators carry a lower capital cost and a higher electrical load; a cylinder manifold reverses that.
Site condition. An existing three-phase supply and a ground-floor room with a wide door can remove a significant slice of the installation line.

Running Cost

The number most buyers forget

Capital cost is quoted; operating cost is discovered.
